Dearest Gentle Reader,

The social season is upon us and the ton are abuzz with news of this year’s Raising Spirits Gala & Auction. This splendid soiree promises delectable hors d’oeuvres and spirits, followed by a scrumptious dinner and a scintillating live auction. With so much revelry and elegance planned, this author must ask the question: Is there anything more exhilarating than a ball?

The festivities begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner, dessert and coffee. Brief remarks will be offered by Janus Head of School, Heather Strunk before the live auction begins. Visit the cork pull station to try and win a bottle of wine valued between $15 and $75. Get in on the fun of "heads or tails" where one lucky participant will go home with a bottle of Veuve.

Your presence is requested at this auspicious occasion where we “raise the paddle” for student financial aid and honor the memory of our dear friend, former Janus parent, and longtime board member, Larry Keating, whose service to Janus spans over five and twenty years.
